We belong to the Polymer Theory Group at the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research. Our research activity involves the development and use of computational methods aiming at investigating structural, thermodynamic and electronic properties of nanometric materials. Systems and phenomena of interest include growth of metal nanoparticles in chemical environments, thermodynamic and electronic properties of room-temperature ionic liquids and solvation thermodynamics of molecular fluids and liquid mixtures.
