Dr. Jana Hedrich
Dr. Jana Hedrich studied biology and finished her PhD 2011 at the Johannes-Gutenberg University Mainz. She did her PhD in the group of Prof. W. Stöcker under the supervision of Prof. C. Becker-Pauly, working on on the fundamental physiological characterization of the metalloproteases meprin alpha and beta. In 2011, she joined the group of Prof. H. Luhmann as a postdoctoral fellow at University Medical Center Mainz. There, she studied fundamental neurosciences and drug delivery across the blood-brain barrier. In 2017, Dr. Hedrich joined the group of Prof. Tanja Weil as a postdoctoral fellow and team leader of the group “In Vivo Applications for the Central Nervous Systemâ€.
Research Topics
Drug delivery and applications for the central nervous system.
