PhD student

Marco Raabe

Marco studied at Ulm University (Germany) where he received his bachelor (2013) and master (2016) degrees in biochemistry. He performed his master thesis in the group of Tanja Weil and focused on protein modification inspired by nature ("Bio-Inspired Multidomain Protein Complexes by Non-Covalent Self-Assembly"). In April 2016 he started his PhD and moved to the MPIP in July 2016. His research focus is on biopolymeric coating of nanodiamonds for targeted delivery and biomedical imaging. His work is part of the EU-Project Hyperdiamond (Horizon 2020).
