I am a member of the Max Planck Research Group for Organic Optoelectronics located at the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research in Mainz.

My interest lies in the understanding of fundamental processes in organic solar cells, especially solid state dye-sensitized solar cells employing organic sensitizers. I study processes like charge generation, recombination and dye regeneration with optical spectroscopy methods such as quasi steady-state photoinduced absorption and transient absorption spectroscopy. My aim is to put those properties in context to the device performance.

My work is funded by the Max-Planck-Graduate-Center and I am a member of the IRTG 1404: Self-organized Materials for Optoelectronics .
