I am a postdoctoral fellow working at the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research in the theory department of Professor Kremer.
My project is on charge transport in discotic liquid crystals and in general structure-properties relations for different organic compounds used in molecular electronics.
In 2003 I finished my PhD on modeling of atomic-force microscopy (scientific advisor Dr. V. V. Ogorodnikov and Prof. Yu. G. Krasnikov). I then continued this research working in close collaboration with Tartu University (group of Dr. Ants Lohmus). I am also involved in studies of X-ray diffraction of crystals.
