Press and Public Relations

The Press and Public Relations Department provides the latest news on research and events at the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research. Our work aims at the media, the interested public as well as partners in various research institutions, politics and economy and, of course, at scientists and staff working in our institute.
The Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research adopts schools in the Mainz region. Furthermore, we participate in the Girls' Day and the Student Lab (www.nat-schuelerlabor.de) - both projects that are realised in cooperation with the University of Mainz. Every year the institute takes part in the Science Market in Mainz, organised by the Johannes Gutenberg-University of Mainz. Interesting talks and exciting experiments allow you to put your hands on basic research performed by the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research.
