I joined the theory group at the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research as a PhD. student in November 2013.

My current research focuses on exploring the transport and thermodynamic properties of highly polar organic dyes.

I studied materials science (Diplom, May 2013) at the Technical University Darmstadt and the University of Ilinois at Urbana-Champaign. During my thesis in the group of Prof. Albe I worked on a model to self-consistently calculate the polarisation reversal in polycristalline ferroelectrics.
